A few days ago our friend HB, sent me an email with a request for his birthday: all the bombs into you songs in one place. I thought: well, obviously. For HB, I’ll put some files together. Stuff that has been sitting on my hard drive, collecting space dust. When I started to search through the last 5 years of Bombs Into You archives, I got excited, reflective, and felt pretty proud of what this band has meant to me. So after a little thought, I decided to put together a free compilation of our records, demos, and some favorite live recordings that I thought might be fun for people to check out.

Bombs Into You has always been a pretty humble project. We have never toured, we have never been signed to a label, we have never launched wide reaching press campaigns, and all members of Bombs Into You have spent money in order to participate in this band. Still, thanks to the internet and file sharing, we have listeners all over country, and on various continents of the world…. in it’s own small way Bombs Into You has affected other lives, not just ours. And for that, we are grateful and proud.

So we give this compilation to you, our observers. ‘Bright moments, and unknown blips’. Some sound like complete shit. Some are early songs that I’m obviously mumbling over for lack of finished lyrics. Some demos are extremely rough, songs that may never be revisited again. And as we continue working, creating new material, and revising Bombs Into You live, we thank all of you that have listened, that have corresponded with us, and attended our shows.

For all of you that ever gave a shit. thanks…
