"A combination of electro savvy sounds on one track and raw, organic mixes and catchy chorus lines on another makes Bombs' fanbase reach far and wide. They aren't so computer nerdy that it turns off the rock crowd or so mainstream that indie fans can't relate" - The Eugene Weekly
"...Radiohead with a touch of Aphex Twin." - The Weekly Volcano
"Bombs Into You is like a jittery electronica extravaganza. This is not a 'sit down and enjoy the music' kind of cd. Bombs Into You is aiming to make you move." - Cassie Gressell, ForTheSound.com
"...this is some pretty happening stuff." - Barley, KBVR Dinner Digest
BIO
Portland Indie Electro-Rock act, Bombs Into You fully formed in the summer of 2006 after founder, Jared Jensen completed work on Bombs Into You's debut self-titled record. The colorfully distorted, engaging, organic sound of the album quickly gained local support and Jensen was soon joined by multi-instrumentalists Gage Choat and Nate Jayne to interpret the material for stage and build a live show that displays a unique charisma and intensity.
Bombs Into You's hooky, diverse songs invoke bands like The Faint, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and Placebo all the while establishing a unique voice and presence. Their debut record has been featured on KNRK's 'Get Local' and KBVR's Dinner Digest and the albums first single, 'Arrested To You' was featured on the local comp 'Failing Records Vol 3'. The band has shared the stage with national acts including The Hourly Radio and Woven, as well as local favorites such as Gifford Pinchot and The Gentry.
In February of 2007 Bombs Into You launched The Remix Movement: An opportunity for anyone to download and remix the track 'Move Me', and submit their mix back to the band for possible inclusion with an upcoming EP. The 'event' went around the web so much that remixing Move Me is now included in the curriculum at the audio engineering school SEC in Nashville.
the band is currently working on a follow up to their debut record.
